Great service, ambience and good food. Huge portions! We went for brunch on a busy day and yet the service was faultless, the food was good and the atmosphere buzzy. Definitely recommend.

Stopped here on the way home from Uniontown. Waited about 30 minutes to get a table. It was Labor Day and they were closing early for the holiday. Wait staff was very pleasant. I got the French toast and thought it was delicious. My brother ordered a heart healthy omelette that looked really good. I just thought it was ridiculous how much we paid for Turkey sausage. It was like more than $ 5 for a side of Turkey sausage.

CLEANEST diner in the world, no joke. Good food, great service, and wacko guests. Great value for a diner open early and stays bright until late. Normally when I go for a diner fix, i'm taking a crap shoot as to food poisoning or other illness from just-get-by or at the worst "wraiths" where you touch the blinds and 30 years of dust falls at you. DID I SAY CLEAN? Owners are obsessed with cleanliness and it shows. That means it's safe. Been there 4 times and it shall be my go-to when I'm in Hershey Harrisburg and hoteling nearby. As in, staff are roving the parking lot sweeping the perfect asphalt for any dust and debris. I would eat off the floor if they served it that way. Move the salt-pepper, move the jam/jelly tray, move the table-tent. Mirrors. Light bulbs. Everything sparkles. Every single square inch of this place is absolutely and completely clean. GUINESS READY One server (says she's been there for very many years) pulled off a NINE-CARRY!!! I couldn't believe it. And she did it with the grace and flair of a ballerina!! Two ginormous serving trays that normally would EACH be held balanced the shoulder with a supporting hand underneath, instead balanced on palms and supported by what must be absolutely massive biceps, and whooshly laid on the tables opposite! yes, count them! (I did) NINE PLATES!! What a feat! WACKO GUESTS As is sometimes the case (and unfortunately mine on my second visit), you get some wackos. These were the Jersey ladies who have no volume level but "yell at the top of our lungs" for everything. We were part of their conversation from the moment they opened the door until the relieving click of the outer door when they left. Sheesh! It was funny, but most of the time just waiting for a pause so we could hear each other speak. Some of these wackos have written reviews. One star reviews. WACKOS! Makes me wish YET AGAIN that Yelp offered a feature to one-click BLOCK a user (opposite from follow). Don't believe them. This place is SOLID. THE VALUE I'm in Philly Rittenhouse where I have mostly stopped restauranting as the price of an omelet went past $30, and pasta with lobster (yeah the $7 foil bag one) went to $76 -- for just one bag's worth of lobster bits. The prices here are NORMAL. And the value is great! If you're in the area, get your friends together and order biiig. You might get her to top this record and do a TEN CARRY!!! Just wow. This diner is fantastic. Their menus extensive their portions are huge and food is all prepared on site. The servers are hard working and very kind. I can't even begin to list all of the great stuff that they have in their menu if you're in the area, this is a must stop but be hungry

We ate at the Capitol Diner this evening and enjoyed our meals. We liked the bright lights and shiny chrome and appreciated the friendly service, too. We had an omelet with homefries and toast and a Capitol Breakfast Special that included two eggs, a large sausage patty, two French ghosts, and homefries. We also had coffee. Everything turned out great and was a reasonable temperature. Our total came to $27.something with tax so it seemed reasonable to us.
